Along with building homes for open market sale, we're also building what the government defines as 'affordable housing'. In phase 1, of the 293 homes we built, 70 homes were available for social or affordable rent. We are continuing to build more affiordable rented homes, alongside those available for open market sale, in phase 2, along with a small proportion of shared ownership properties. In phase 3 private rented units will be available for the first time at the Prince's Gardens in Manor and East Hill Gardens in Norfolk Park, via Simple Life Homes.

The majority of our affordable rented homes and all our shared ownership properties are managed by our partner, Great Places Housing Group, a trusted and respected Registered Landlord which already manages over 1,500 homes in Sheffield. When our homes are available to rent they are advertised on the Sheffield Property Shop website.

If you would like to bid for a home (not applicable for private renting) when they are advertised, you will first need to be registered on the Council's Housing Register. If you aren't already registered, you need to complete a Housing Registration Form. More information on how to do this can be found via the Sheffield Property Shop or by phone on 0114 2930000 or 0114 2053333.
