Local businesses are being offered a chance to bid for a slice of a 15-year programme to build 2,300 new homes in Sheffield.

Sheffield Housing Company, a consortium of Sheffield City Council, Great Places Housing Group and Keepmoat Homes is holding a Meet the Contractor event at the Don Valley Stadium on Wednesday, November 23.

Paul Devaney, commercial director for Keepmoat Homes, said: “These events will provide a fantastic opportunity for local firms and service providers to maximise their chances of being involved in the project and make a significant contribution to Sheffield's communities. Any local companies that would like to be part of this exciting regeneration scheme should come along, learn more about what we've got planned in Sheffield over the coming years and how to apply.”
